excavated in the limestone.


Then, discover the beautiful and typical Saint-Emilion village and its vineyards that have
been shaped by history for more than 2000 years. Nowadays the village and its landscapes
are both listed as Unesco World Heritage.

What to visit in Saint-Emilion?

After a walking tour in this charming medieval village, discover the hidden treasures of Saint-Emilion - its underground monuments only accessible with a guide: the Hermitage of Saint-Emilion, the catacombs and the largest and most impressive in Europe monolithic church entirely dug in limestone rock by monks from the 9th to the 11th century.
